Your Kent Wedding 2008

Photographers notes, and those truly professional moments that stay in the memory.

Every wedding can have those 'wild cards' that are unexpected regardless of the previous planning.
They require quick and flexible responses based on experience and skill so that they can be turned to advantage.

At this wedding the group shots in the dark on the drawbridge were particularly memorable for me as I couldn't see the guests and they couldn't see me. They were asked to look happily in the direction of my voice at the count of three which they all did. Their faith in me and and mine in the camera's ability to focus in the dark via infra red beam did the trick and all the shots were sharp, well lit and everyone was looking happily at the photographer. Images from this wedding were the basis of a four page article published in 'Your Kent Wedding' magazine as an example of a Christmas wedding.
