Dear Ian,

Thanks once again for being so great on the day, now that I have come back to work lots of guests have commented on how lovely you were and not pushy like your normal wedding photographer. The photos are going down a storm, lots of compliments about how natural the shots are and about the colour and quality of the photos. Thought you would like to know that.

hi ian

it is kim here. i would just like to say that the photos that you took of our wedding were really brilliant.

we have now had time to look though them all and there are some we didn't even know that you had taken. the ones you took of our youngest were really nice to get as we can't always get nice ones of him. you really tried hard with him and you were good with him.  you made our day.

we would just like to say thank you very much, and we would definitely recommend you to any of our friends or family who asked if we knew a good photographer.

Photographers notes, and those truly professional moments that stay in the memory.

Every wedding can have those 'wild cards' that are unexpected regardless of the previous planning.
They require quick and flexible responses based on experience and skill so that they can be turned to advantage.

In this wedding the unexpected was torrential rain in the middle of the outdoors ceremony. The guests had to shelter in the main building but the bride, groom, witnesses and myself were stranded in the gazebo where we got some great fun shots. After the rain the ceremony continued with high winds (four people were needed to keep the paperwork on the table) but then the sun came out and it became a lovely late afternoon and evening. Just a typical English summer's day. To finish off, the groom's speech was one of the best I have ever heard. It was funny, sincere, romantic and with a final section perfectly spoken to the bride in time to a background musical track. A really great experience.
